Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the API architecture roadmap, aligning IT with business strategy.
• System Analysis: Analyze current API systems, processes, and data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Design and Implementation: Design and implement new or improved API systems and infrastructure.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions that align with the organization's needs.
• Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for architectural decisions.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with API infrastructure and systems.
• Compliance: Ensure that the API architecture complies with relevant regulations and standards.
• Change Management: Guide the organization through the necessary changes and transitions associated with new systems or processes.
• Documentation: Document the API architecture and related standards.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Azure API Management and related Azure services.
• Experience with API design, development, and integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with API security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and maintain a long-term vision for the API infrastructure.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and how IT can support them.
• Leadership and Influence: Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.

Preferred candidate profile

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor Or Masters in Technology OR
• Bachelor Or Master of Computer Applications

Certifications:

• AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience working in API management and cloud computing.
• At least 8 years of overall relevant industry experience spanning across development, integration etc. among others
• Deep knowledge in Software Product Development processes and design, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid.

Work Experience: 8-14 years
