Architect

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

Design & Planning

• Conceptualize and develop innovative architectural designs for real estate projects.
  
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and similar tools.
  
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to refine design solutions based on project requirements.
  

Project Coordination

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
  
• Review and approve architectural plans, blueprints, and contractor submissions.
  
• Monitor and resolve design-related challenges during construction.
  
• Ensure on-time delivery of all design outputs in line with project timelines.
  

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction aligns with approved architectural plans.
  
• Address deviations from design and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Maintain organized documentation of all project-related drawings, approvals, and revisions.
  

Sustainability & Innovation

• Apply sustainable and energy-efficient design practices across projects.
  
• Stay up-to-date with architectural trends, materials, and technologies to drive innovation.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact for design discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  
• Present design concepts, progress updates, and approvals to senior management and authorities.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  Revit

  SketchUp

  Adobe Creative Suite

  , and other design software.
• Working knowledge of

  BIM

  (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Strong grasp of building codes, local development regulations, zoning laws, and NBC/Byelaws.
  
• Project management and multitasking abilities for handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
  
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail, spatial planning, and quality assurance.
  
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle on-site and design-related challenges.
  
• Proficiency in

  MS Office

  , especially

  PowerPoint

  , for documentation and presentation.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with sustainable/green building certifications (LEED, IGBC).
  
• Familiarity with liaison activities and regulatory approvals.
  
• Exposure to large-scale real estate projects such as

  high-rise residential buildings

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
