Architect

As a Junior Architect at Aalekhya Associates, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary architecture and design practice specializing in various projects. Your role will involve assisting senior architects in developing design concepts and presentations, preparing architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings, supporting the preparation of working drawings and technical documentation, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, measurements, and documentation, participating in design discussions, client presentations, and review meetings, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Assist senior architects in developing design concepts and presentations. - Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings. - Support the preparation of working drawings, layouts, and technical documentation. - Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors. - Conduct site visits, measurements, and documentation when required. - Participate in design discussions, client presentations, and review meetings. - Ensure compliance with local building codes and project specifications. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of local building regulations and bye-laws. - Experience with SketchUp & Lumion, or similar rendering tools. - Internship experience in an architecture or design firm.
