DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Finance leader to join its FinOps/Order-to-Cash (O2C) team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of one of the most dynamic and fastest growing organizations at Amazon.
The Program Lead role will be instrumental for actively managing and improving the policies, processes and tools that drive the AWS O2C work streams. Key job responsibilities. Works with internal stakeholders and customers to identify highest added-value opportunities to drive free-cash flow and at the same time optimize customer experience. . The role requires superior analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, leadership and external customers.. A successful candidate will be eager to Invent and Simplify process, procedures and tools used to measure, analyze and report. . They will be able to develop and implement Think Big ideas and transform them into scalable projects, partnering with cross-functional teams. . The candidate must be comfortable documenting and presenting new projects and strategies to senior leadership and secure their buy in.A day in the lifeDiving deep into nuances of AWS billing, cash collection and customer payment experience and creating the mid to long term vision for these areas will represent the bulk of your time. You will be a trusted advisor for different functions with Amazon AWS Finance Operations, but also Accounting, Finance, Sales and Customer Support teams. Your vision and bias for particular approach and solutions will prescribe the marching orders of various teams contributing to AWS cash flow management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience- Bachelor's degree- 5+ years of experience leading continuous improvement projects with measurable results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel- MBA, or CPA- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis- Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with competing deadlines.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
