Apprentice Leader Devops

Role Overview: As an Apprentice Leader DevOps at our client, one of the largest data science companies in Bangalore, you will be responsible for building and running secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. Your primary focus will be on automating infrastructure, CI/CD processes, observability, and incident response to accelerate product delivery in collaboration with product and data/engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design & run CI/CD processes, including building resilient pipelines, trunk-based development, feature flags, and blue/green or canary deployments - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and immutable patterns for managing cloud infrastructure - Containerize services with Docker and operate them on Kubernetes (or managed equivalents) - Define SLIs/SLOs, centralize logs/metrics/traces, and drive incident management, on-call rotations, and post-mortems for observability & reliability - Implement security measures such as IAM/SSO, secrets management, policy-as-code, vulnerability scanning, and least privilege by default Qualifications Required: - Experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering or strong software engineering with a focus on infrastructure - Proficiency in Azure cloud services - Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes (Helm/Customize), scripting languages like Bash, Python/Go, Prometheus/Grafana for observability, and practical knowledge of secrets management, SAST/DAST, and policy-as-code for security - Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work closely with developers, data, and security teams (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.),
