Role Overview

As a Java Software Engineer, you’ll be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java-based applications. You'll work closely with product managers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver clean, maintainable code in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs
• Implement microservices using

  Spring Boot

  and related frameworks
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhancements
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies
• Debug production issues and contribute to performance improvements

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in backend development using

  Java (8 or above)

  and

  Spring Boot

• Solid understanding of

  RESTful APIs

  ,

  OOP principles

  , and

  design patterns

• Familiarity with

  SQL

  or

  NoSQL databases

  like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Agile development tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps concepts

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
