Apprentice - CAD Engineer

You will be a part of Oceaneerings India Center, which has been a crucial part of Oceaneerings global operations since 2003. The center caters to a wide range of business needs, including oil and gas field infrastructure, subsea robotics, automated material handling & logistics, and more. Our multidisciplinary team offers solutions in Subsea Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Control Systems, Software Development, Asset Integrity Management, Inspection, ROV operations, and Graphics Design & Animation. **Role Overview:** As a member of the Oceaneering India Center, you will have the opportunity to work on moderate to complex technical assignments under little supervision. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, layouts, P&IDs, and related CAD data. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare 3D CAD data, detailed design drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics, layouts, general arrangements, and P&IDs. - Execute assigned tasks within the required KPIs and provide time estimates for tasks. - Utilize Solidworks software tool for modeling, assembly, drawing, weldment, etc. - Demonstrate basic knowledge of drafting standards, tolerance, welding, surface finish, and hydraulics symbols. **Qualifications Required:** - 3/4 Years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with Certification in CAD software. **Desired Qualifications:** - Familiarity with Solidworks (Preferred with Certification). - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
