Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of Atkins Canada Land development team.
  • Work on a range of projects relating to storm network modelling, drainage infrastructure design and planning from the Gurugram office.
  • Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery.
  • Ownership of the work of self.
  • Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of drainage infrastructure and related issues, including, hydraulics and hydrology.
Essential qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master s Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resource and Environmental Engineering from a recognised University.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of network design or hydraulic modelling as part of academic projects.
  • Experience in using design or hydraulic modelling software for academic projects (PCSWMM, HECRAS or Bentley suite of software) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS is preferred.
  • Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
Desired qualifications:
  • Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
