Applied Scientist II, Digital Acceleration

As an Applied Scientist at the Digital Acceleration (DA) team in India, your role will involve prototyping, optimizing, and deploying ML algorithms to solve Digital business problems. You will work on advancing the state of the art in AI & ML by researching, experimenting, and building Proof Of Concepts. Additionally, your responsibilities will include collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams to understand customer needs, drive science solutions from conception to delivery, and adapt quickly to evolving technical requirements. Effective technical communication, documentation of algorithms, methodologies, and findings, as well as supporting on-call activities for critical issues, are also key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Research, experiment, and build Proof Of Concepts advancing AI & ML - Collaborate across teams to understand customer needs and drive science solutions - Adapt quickly to evolving technical requirements - Engage in effective technical communication with coordination across teams - Conduct thorough documentation of algorithms, methodologies, and findings - Publish research papers in internal and external venues - Support on-call activities for critical issues Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of building models for business application experience - PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or related field - Experience in patents or publications at top-tier conferences or journals - Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or related language - Knowledge in areas such as algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, and high-performance computing,
