Application Support & Site Reliability Engineer

As an L2 application support specialist for the trading platform accessed via Citrix Workspace, your role involves ensuring high availability and optimal performance. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix Workspace, backend databases, and the trading application environment. Monitoring application and database health, availability, and performance using relevant monitoring and alerting tools will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending automation, alert tuning, and process enhancements aligned with Site Reliability Engineering principles. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing SQL query analysis and database troubleshooting to identify and fix data or performance issues. - Interrogating SQL Server databases for investigations using simple and complex SQL queries. - Investigating user queries via log file and process interaction, such as order issues, flow breaks, booking issues, and Pricing. - Collaborating closely with development, QA, and SRE teams to diagnose and resolve complex incidents, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. - Interacting with Offshore teams and effectively communicating issues with clarity.,
