Job Title: Application Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting 24x7 mission-critical production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot 24x7 mission-critical production systems to ensure high availability and performance.

• Ensure monitored parameters are in order and solve/escalate in case of anomalies.

• Ensure backups are maintained and scheduled jobs are completed.

• Debug application-level issues and resolve or escalate to the engineering team.

• Provide insights and feedback to the engineering and product teams to improve system performance and reliability.

• Develop new features and integrations in coordination with the development team.

Experience

5 years of experience in application support or a related field.

Skill / Pre-requisites:

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Linux commands.

• Experience with MySQL structured data and Mongodb unstructured data.

• Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript).

• Must be willing to work in shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

• Excellent logical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Awareness of cloud technologies are a definite plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or graduation or equivalent Certification if any.
