Project Role Description:

Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
L2 support
for Windows-based applications ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform
incident management
,
change management
, and
root cause analysis
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical bottlenecks.
Diagnose and address application issues effectively and efficiently.
Maintain technical documentation and manage the knowledge base.
Work with
SQL databases
and basic
network configurations
.
Document issue triage and troubleshooting steps.
Deliver exceptional customer service and relationship management.
Support application upgrades, patches, and deployments.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for integration and functionality.
Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with
Microsoft Azure IaaS
.
Proficiency in
IIS
, Windows services, and related infrastructure.
Solid understanding of
SQL
and database troubleshooting.
Strong
network troubleshooting and configuration
skills.
Comfortable with
24x7 on-call support
.
Familiarity with incident management tools like
ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence
.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to
Microsoft Azure PaaS
, public/private cloud environments.
Experience with
cloud services administration

Knowledge of
