Role:Vulnerability Management Role Description:Vulnerability Management role is responsible for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications. This includes managing the full lifecycle of vulnerabilities - from detection to closure- while ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities and Technical Experience:Monitor vulnerabilities across the client environment using tools and dashboards such as:Tanium Enterprise ManagementNessus or Rapid7Analyze scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact.Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly vulnerability reports to relevant stakeholders.Develop and execute monthly mitigation plans for application vulnerabilities, ensuring closure of all reported issues.Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and application owners to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.Track remediation progress and escalate delays or risks to management as needed.Maintain comprehensive documentation of the vulnerability lifecycle, including detection, reporting, and resolution.Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and relevant vulnerability data and reports.Work closely with client teams to align vulnerability management practices with organizational standards.Contribute to automation initiatives aimed at streamlining vulnerability reporting and tracking processes.Required Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in application and infrastructure vulnerability management, including reporting and remediation.Hands-on experience with tools such as Tanium Enterprise Management, Security Platform, Nessus, or Rapid7.Strong understanding of patch management and remediation workflows for application-related vulnerabilities.Vulnerabilities mitigation Knowledge on, net, Java, Oracle, Apache Etc.Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.Proven experience working in multi-tower environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.Skill:Tanium Enterprise ManagementSecurity PlatformNessus or Rapid7Application Vulnerability Management Vulnerability Reporting CompTIA Security+ CertificationGood to Have:CompTIA Security+ CertificationWindow Server AdministrationTableau reportingWeb Application and API Knowledge. Qualification 15 years full time education
