Must have skills : ControlM Administration Good to have skills : Cloud Infrastructure Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 Years of full time education Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Must have skills :ControlM scheduling and AdministrationKey Responsibilities: Manage, maintain, and optimize Control-M environments, ensuring efficient job scheduling and workflow automation. Develop and implement job scheduling policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reliability. Monitor and troubleshoot Control-M job failures, performance issues, and system errors, providing timely resolutions. Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate Control-M with various applications and systems. Create and maintain detailed documentation for job schedules, workflows, and system configurations. Implement and support Control-M upgrades, patches, and new releases. Perform regular system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide on-call support as part of a rotation schedule to address critical issues and maintain system availability. Train and mentor junior staff and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with BMC Control-M in a complex enterprise environment. Strong understanding of job scheduling concepts, batch processing, and automation techniques. Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, or PowerShell. Experience with integrating Control-M with various applications, databases, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix). Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience in an ITIL-based environment is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with other job scheduling tools and platforms is a plus.
