About The Role

Project Role :Application Support Engineer

Project Role Description :Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills :Linux Architecture

Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the seamless operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency, all while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional service to stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for application support.

Document and communicate technical issues and resolutions effectively.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Linux Architecture.

Strong understanding of system performance tuning and optimization.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for system health.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Experience of clustering technologies for HA/DR.

Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware etc)

Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools like Ansible

Understanding of SAP and traditional databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Linux Architecture.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
