Job Description

Role Overview:

The Application Penetration Tester will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities in web, mobile, and API applications.

The role involves conducting penetration tests, assessing risks, providing recommendations, and working closely with development teams to ensure applications are secure against potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct penetration testing on web, mobile, and API applications to identify vulnerabilities.
Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis of applications.
Use automated tools and manual techniques to simulate attacks and exploit security weaknesses.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, risk ratings, and recommendations.
Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry security best practices.
Participate in secure code review and threat modeling exercises.
Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in developing security awareness and best practices for application development teams.
