Application Manager

As an Application Manager with 10+ years of experience in analysis, design, development, and support of IT solutions, you will be responsible for establishing the support and operations for the given set of IT solutions. The technology stack includes enterprise packages and custom-built applications in Java, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and more. You will closely collaborate with the Functional and Technical Teams during the Design and Implementation Phases to ensure sustainable choices for future operations. Leading the operations team, including Developers and Business Analysts, to meet SLA/SLEs with Quality, Efficiency, and Effectiveness delivery will be a key aspect of your role. You will manage a strong handshake and collaboration with Business/Process Owners to ensure the continuity and maintenance of the solution. Additionally, generating periodic reports on usage, performance, and health of IT solutions using necessary reporting and dashboards will be part of your responsibilities. You will effectively utilize ITSM processes such as IT change, knowledge, incident, problem management, and enterprise tooling to ensure smooth operations. Establishing governance with third-party suppliers/Vendors to meet agreed commitments on supporting the solution will be crucial. With a clear understanding of market and technology evolution, you will create roadmaps for solutions to maintain their reliability and stability. Building a network with the Application Managers community across the Organization and working on dependencies for end-to-end continuity of solutions will also be essential. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering or related field, 10+ years of experience in analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise IT solutions, strong technical understanding and hands-on experience in Java, Angular, Spring, SQL, DB2, leadership experience in guiding Developers/Business Analysts to meet SLA/SLEs, expertise in designing and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications with the use of Enterprise tooling, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to define and elaborate roadmaps for IT solutions inline with stakeholder needs and market evolution, certification in Application Management streams (e.g., ITIL 4), experience in managing applications on-premise and cloud (preferably Azure), familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies and tools, and working with SAFe principles is an added advantage.,
