Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team while ensuring adherence to best practices in application development. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an DevOps SME.- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.- Continuously assess and improve team processes to increase efficiency. Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in DevOps.- We need senior DevOps SMEs who are capable of embedded in development teams to drive cultural change, educate on advanced DevOps, and to perform highly technical work on CI/CD adoption to the MarketsOne CI/CD pipeline.- The specific deliverable is for each application we target to be releasing to production via the MarketsOne CI/CD platform at the end of the team rotation.- Technologies involved include GitLab, Rust, .Net, Java, Python, TypeScript, Ansible, Gradle, Conda, Docker, Kubernetes, TeamCity, Jenkins, and many more.- Complexities involve legacy codebases, legacy development practices, technical debt, migration timelines, and cultural transformation.- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.- In depth knowledge of GitLab and Rust, experience building a wide variety of CI/CD pipelines
