Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Infrastructure Automation and Cloud Platform Management initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, AliCloud). The role demands deep technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to drive automation, scalability, and reliability in a fast-paced, global environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:Infrastructure Automation (IaC):- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.- Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources across Azure, AWS, GCP, and AliCloud.- Automate deployment of key infrastructure components:VNets, Subnets, NSGs, VMs, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Storage, DBaaS, AKS, etc.- Ensure all infrastructure is version-controlled, repeatable, and aligned with LOral standards.CI/CD Pipeline Development & Management:- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Azure DevOps Pipelines).- Automate testing, validation, and rollout of infrastructure changes.- Implement deployment strategies including blue/green deployments and rollbacks.- Integrate cybersecurity and compliance checks (DevSecOps) into pipeline workflows.Cloud Platform Management & Optimization:- Implement and manage observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana).- Ensure high availability and proactive issue detection for all cloud infrastructure.- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning exercises.- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure design, automation scripts, and operational processes.- Share knowledge and best practices with internal teams to drive operational excellence.Professional and Technical Skills:
Educational Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Technical Competencies:- Cloud Platforms:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, Networking, Storage, Azure SQL, App Services, AKS, Functions, etc.).- IaC Tools:Proficient in Terraform; experience with Ansible for configuration management.- CI/CD Tools:Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub, and Azure DevOps Repositories.- Certifications:Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable.Professional Competencies & Skills:- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and geographies.- Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment with diverse cultures and time zones.- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.- Passion for continuous learning and adapting to emerging technologies.
