Application Engineer - Punching/Bending

As an Application Engineer - Punching/Bending at our company located in Faridabad, your role involves operating the CNC Punching machine/Bending Machine to support the TC team by processing parts and operating machinery for sheet metal products as per the supervisor's instructions. You will also be responsible for demonstrating the Machine based on customer requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate the CNC Punching/Bending machine and other machinery in the sheet metal department, or assist other machine operators. - Select and set up tools according to material type, thickness, program, load programs, and set machine parameters for optimal equipment performance. - Prepare process Time Study for the sales team. - Conduct verifications as per customer requirements. - Have knowledge about forming tools used for punching operation. - Assemble items as instructed by the shift leader or floor supervisor. - Prepare products for shipment. **Qualification Required:** - A 4-year degree in B. Tech/BE (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Production Engineering) or a Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Production Engineering. - Experience of 4 to 8 years working on CNC Punching machines. - Solid background in working with sheet metal. - Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills. - Ability to distinguish material types such as Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and other metals. - Strong team player and reliable candidate. **Additional Details:** - Knowledge of manufacturing concepts. - Knowledge of 2D CAD / 3D CAD software, with experience in SolidWorks design preferred. - Ability to quickly grasp modern technology. - Good communication skills in English and Hindi. - Ability to prioritize multiple projects. - Basic knowledge in G-CODE. - Ability to read blueprints. - Knowledge of lifting techniques.
