Application Engineer - Pre sales - BMS

Key Responsibilities: - Support pre-sales engineering for Building Automation System global projects according to country-specific standards - Assist with pre-sales estimation by preparing technical assessments and cost estimations - Review project inputs, specifications, MEP drawings, and SOP to identify HVAC equipment and sensors - Participate in project kick-off meetings and ensure compliance with technical queries and risk logs - Adhere to standard estimation processes to select the optimal hardware, software, and services within budget - Create bill of material, select sensors, control valves, dampers, and controllers - Prepare Building Automation System network architecture and ensure defect-free deliverables and on-time deliveries - Comply with timesheet entry and review for self Qualifications Required: - BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication - Knowledge of HVAC systems such as Chilled Water System, Cooling Towers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems, etc. - Strong understanding of BMS architecture, network protocols (BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC), and wiring of field devices - Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning HVAC & BMS systems for infrastructure projects - Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA, problem-solving, and leadership skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Additional Details: Johnson Controls is a Great Place To Work-Certified organization that offers competitive salary, paid vacation/holidays/sick time, on-the-job training, and a collaborative team environment dedicated to safety through the Zero Harm policy.
