Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote support (telephone/email) to Keysight customers for hardware and software-related queries.
• Troubleshoot product failures, implement solutions, and escalate issues as required.
• Assist with hardware and software upgrades to ensure smooth transitions.
• Resolve licensing-related queries and generate RMA requests when necessary.
• Configure Keysight Technologies equipment to optimize functionality.
• Create opportunities for license renewals or new product sales.
• Develop knowledge base articles to enhance customer self-service.
• Escalate priority issues to appropriate teams for prompt resolution.

Desired Skills:

• Electronics Expertise:

  Solid understanding of electronics and components testing/measurement.

• Instruments Knowledge:

  Familiarity with devices like DMM, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.

• Customer Support Experience:

  Preferred but not mandatory.

• Keysight Product Knowledge:

  Added advantage.

• Additional Skills:

  Knowledge of oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, MATLAB, Windows OS, and networking is a plus.

• Communication:

  Strong verbal and written skills with a proactive and positive approach.
