Job Description

As an Application Engineer with 0-1 years of experience, your primary role will be to provide technical support and guidance to customers using Ansys Fluids tools. This involves troubleshooting simulation issues, resolving technical issues, and assisting clients in optimizing their simulations for enhanced results. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical support for Ansys Fluids products, troubleshooting simulation issues, and offering solutions to customers. - Assisting customers in setting up CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent and other Ansys Fluids tools. - Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to simulation setup, meshing, solvers, and post-processing. - Offering training sessions and guidance on best practices for using Ansys Fluids tools and simulation workflows. - Collaborating closely with R&D and development teams to report software bugs, suggest improvements, and test new features. - Collecting and relaying customer feedback to help improve Ansys Fluids products and customer experience. - Keeping customers informed of new software releases, patches, and updates, and guiding them through the upgrade process. - Helping customers optimize their simulation processes for improved performance and efficiency. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Ansys Fluids Tools such as ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFX, and other related Ansys tools for CFD simulations. - Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues in simulations. - Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers, both technically and non-technically. - Experience in creating clear, concise documentation and knowledge base articles. - Understanding of CFD concepts, mesh generation, solver settings, and post-processing. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for automation and troubleshooting. - Excellent collaboration skills with a customer-centric approach. Preferred Qualifications: - Post Graduate Degree in Heat Power / Thermal Engineering / Thermal & Fluid Sciences. - Experience in providing technical support or working in customer-facing roles. - Familiarity with the latest Ansys Fluids product releases and features.,
