Job Description This project is to develop a virtual ECU simulation framework to allow the simulation of an ECU and its applications in a purely software environment. The framework will run application code and plant models built for a 64bit Linux target. A 64bit Windows target will be required for development and debugging purposes. Role: C++ Application Development Project : vECU Simulation Framework Responsibilities: • Understand underlying ECU architectures including Task Scheduling, Memory management, etc • Develop virtual equivalent of a provided ECU architecture • Debug application to ensure optimized operation No memory leaks, optimized routines, etc • Refactor code base as and when needed to connect to various endpoints provided • Effective communication of application design, debugging strategies and concerns as when required Educational Background • Experience : 3-5 years • Education : UG[B.Tech/B.E.](Computer Science/ECE), or PG (Computer Science/ECE) or Equivalent Technical Skills: Experience in • C/C++ Application development and debugging for Windows and Linux environments • Data Structures and algorithms • Multi-threading, memory management for applications • Knowledge and experience tracking performance metrics of application like memory usage, etc • Working with version control systems like git Tool(s): • Visual Studio for C/C++ application development • Intel VTune Profiler (Good to have) • Git Nice to Have: • Successful track record in Project execution : Ownership of project activities and getting it delivered
