Job Description

Technical Support Application Engineer

go-to expert in network automation and protocol testing

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality
post-sales technical support
for Keysight solutions across EMEAI and APAC.
Resolve customer inquiries
related to automation and L2/L3 protocols via remote tools, email, or on-site engagements.
Lead
startup assistance sessions
(remote/on-site) to ensure customer success with Keysight products.
Collaborate closely with global R&D and product centers to resolve complex technical challenges.
Create and maintain
deep technical documentation
and knowledge base articles.
Take
proactive technical ownership
in addressing customer needs and anticipating potential issues.
Grow into an expert
in automation frameworks and networking protocols within KeysightCare.
Continuously improve personal and team expertise in
automation and protocol testing tools
(e.g., IxNetwork).

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
.
47 years of hands-on experience
in technical support or automation engineering.
Proficient in Python
, shell scripting, and working with databases.
Solid knowledge of
network automation frameworks
and implementation of automated systems.
Strong grasp of
Layer 23 networking protocols
such as OSPF and BGP.
Familiarity with
network testing tools like IxNetwork
is a strong advantage.
Excellent
analytical and troubleshooting skills
in networking and automation contexts.
Strong communication and
English language proficiency
(verbal and written).
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload efficiently.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor peers or share technical knowledge.
