Job Description

Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. Proficiency in JavaScript is a plus. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Collaborate closely with designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards. Mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of technical excellence. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards Contribute to technical decision-making. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software. Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code. Work with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components. Key Competencies & Skills required Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in React.js, including hooks, Redux, state management, and component lifecycle. Strong experience with Node.js for backend development, API creation, and integration. Deep knowledge of TypeScript, including static typing, interfaces, and best practices. Solid understanding of modern software design patterns and best practices. Experience with version control systems such as Git. o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus. Nice to have: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and its ecosystem. Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library). Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ORMs. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of additional front-end frameworks or libraries is a plus. Behavioral Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options Previous Experience & Qualifications Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science /Engineering/Information Technology Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role. Years Experience & Knowledge: 2-4 years of C/S Development background in analysis and coding, bug fixing Financial Services background appreciated o COBIT / ITIL experience appreciated Experience of working within multi-location teams
