Project Role :Application Developer

Project Role Description :Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are robust and efficient. You will engage in problem-solving activities, contribute to key decisions, and manage the development process to deliver high-quality applications that align with business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities:Implement observability solutions focusing on Golden Signals for AKS-based applicationsDevelop, configure, and maintain monitoring tools like Splunk or equivalent, with an emphasis on proactive alerting.Respond to incidents on a rotational basis, ensuring minimal downtime, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.Automate incident response using AIOps techniques, enabling self-healing infrastructure and reducing manual toil.Identify and implement enhancements to improve platform stability, scalability, and performance.Conduct regular health checks, capacity planning, and scalability assessments.Work closely with development teams to optimize environments and automation frameworks. Skills:

Drive the development of automated solutions for testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. Terraform experience preferred.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles for reproducibility and efficiency. Collaborate on version upgrades for AKS, MySQL, and other platform components.Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies in collaboration with architects.Enhance existing High Availability (HA) configurations to ensure continuous availability
Additional Information:-Work closely with developers to troubleshoot application issues related to Java, MySQL, and Kubernetes.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on incidents, progress, and outcomes.Proactively challenge and suggest improvements to processes, architecture, and tooling. Qualification 15 years full time education
