Must have skills : IBM Maximo Good to have skills : NAMinimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :The Maximo Mobile Specialist will oversee the full lifecycle of the Maximo Mobile application, from setup, configuration, and customization to support, troubleshooting, and upgrades. This role ensures that the mobile app functions efficiently and meets the needs of end-users while also being responsible for implementing new features and addressing technical issues. Roles & Responsibilities:Configure and customize Maximo Mobile applications via the Maximo Application Framework (MAF).Use JavaScript/React.js to extend the mobile apps functionality and integrate with existing Maximo workflows and systems.Oversee the deployment and setup of Maximo Mobile apps, ensuring proper configuration for devices (iOS/Android).Modify presentation XML files to add fields, change UI elements, or update workflows.Customize Object Structures and define custom attributes for mobile app usage.Develop and deploy custom features using JavaScript (React.js) and integrate with Maximo back-end systems.Manage queries and Query Object Structures to ensure proper data retrieval and display in the mobile app.Implement offline data management using SQLCipher to ensure data security and proper synchronization when the mobile device is offline.Proactively identify potential issues (e.g., data sync problems, performance lags) and resolve them before they affect end-users.Resolve mobile-related support tickets, whether they involve system bugs, user errors, or integration issues.Monitor mobile app logs and identify errors or performance bottlenecks, then fix or escalate issues as necessary.Assist end-users in configuring mobile apps on their devices and offer training on new features or functionalities. Professional & Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js for developing and customizing Maximo Mobile apps.Deep understanding of the Maximo Application Framework (MAF) and its configuration processes.Knowledge of Maximo Object Structures and queries (Query Object Structures and Query Definitions).Experience with SQLCipher for offline data management and SQLite database troubleshooting.Understanding of Maximo integration capabilities and how they relate to mobile apps.Familiarity with Docker for containerized deployments of Maximo Mobile configuration.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, especially in a mobile app environment.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, end-users, and stakeholders.Experience in user training and creating documentation for non-technical users.Ability to manage multiple tasks across different domains:configuration, development, troubleshooting, and support. Additional Information:The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in MAS Mobile customization, along with hands-on experience in supporting or delivering at least one project involving MAS Mobile.The candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of setting up, configuring, and managing the MAS development environment and tools.Additionally, they should be proficient in customizing MAS Mobile apps and supporting a customized MAS mobile environment.Understanding of mobile device management (MDM) systems and deployment processes for iOS/Android apps.- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Maximo.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
