Full time | Work From Office This Position is Currently Open Department / Category: ADMIN Listed on Jun 04, 2025 Work Location: HYDERABAD Job Descritpion of Application Database Administrator 6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Database Administrator (ADBA) with a strong background in Db2 on z/OS platforms. The ideal candidate will be an engineering graduate in Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognized institution and will bring over six years of experience in IT and database management. Key Responsibilities and Requirements: Proven experience in administering Db2 databases on z/OS, with hands-on expertise using IBM Change Manager. In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Db2 utilities. Strong background in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Exposure to BMC DBA tools such as BMC Apptune and BMC AMI Ops is highly desirable. Proficient in working independently, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively function within a team environment. Familiarity with scheduling tools like BMC Control-M is an added advantage. Knowledge of IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA) is a plus. Experience with ticketing and ITSM tools such as HPSM or ServiceNow (SNOW) is beneficial. Understanding of and experience with designing Physical Data Models (PDM) is an added advantage.
