Application and Production Support

This is a full-time position requiring an Associate's Degree with 1-3 years of total experience in Application and Production Support for Windows, Linux, and Unix systems. The role involves providing level 1 and level 1.5 support for client-facing systems and applications servers, including proactive monitoring set up. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing hardware and software within a 24x7 processing environment, recognizing abnormal conditions, and responding appropriately. Collaborating closely with leads, you will work on process stabilization and enhancement by addressing alerts and errors. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in Linux, Windows, Unix Application Support, and Production Support. Additionally, working knowledge of event monitoring tools like Omnibus and Zenoss, as well as hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as SNOW and CMS, are required. Knowledge of Card and Check monitoring using in-house or external tools is a plus. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with FIS products and services, an understanding of business goals and operations within the financial services industry.
