Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced AppDynamics Subject Matter Expert (SME), your main responsibility will be to lead the deployment configuration and optimization of application performance monitoring (APM) tools within the organization. Your in-depth knowledge of AppDynamics and strong understanding of performance tuning for enterprise applications will be crucial in ensuring seamless monitoring of application performance availability and user experience. You will collaborate closely with development operations and infrastructure teams to achieve this goal. Key Responsibilities: - Implement AppDynamics in large-scale enterprise environments, including installation, configuration, and management. - Apply solid knowledge of APM concepts such as transaction tracing, service monitoring, database performance, and end-user experience tracking. - Utilize a strong understanding of various application architectures (monolithic, microservices, containerized) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enhance monitoring capabilities. Performance Tuning & Monitoring: - Conduct performance tuning for distributed systems and databases to optimize overall performance. - Identify and resolve application performance issues like memory leaks, thread contention, and slow database queries effectively. Tools & Integration: - Integrate AppDynamics with other monitoring and incident management tools like Splunk, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow. - Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure efficient tool integration and workflow. Qualifications Required: - Extensive experience with AppDynamics in enterprise environments. - Strong expertise in APM concepts and application architectures. - Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in monitoring tools. - Experience in performance tuning for distributed systems and databases. - Familiarity with integrating monitoring tools and incident management platforms. - Proficiency in working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.,
