Job Description

The API Developer is responsible for designing and building RESTful APIs that integrate data into GCP DataHub, expose TDM services, and serve MDM golden records to downstream consumers.

Role & responsibilities

Design and implement APIs for ingestion of batch, event, and transactional data into DataHub, ensuring schema compatibility with Unity and BIAN/ISO20022 mappings.
Build service endpoints that trigger or consume TDM processes (synthetic data generation, tokenization/detokenization).
Design and implement APIs for returning golden records and relationships (Customer, Account, Household) from MDM.
Ensure APIs meet nonfunctional requirements for security, performance, observability, and error handling.
Work closely with data engineers, MDM engineers, and architects to align API contracts with data models.

Preferred candidate profile

4+ years of experience building RESTful APIs in cloud environments.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, etc.).
Experience with API gateways, authentication/authorization, and schema versioning.
Familiarity with GCP API services and BigQuery integration.
Experience with financial or highly regulated environments is a plus.
