Review and analyse system specifications, requirements, and user stories.
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts.
Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using tools like JIRA .
Perform regression, functional, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
Execute tests across web, APIs, or backend systems as required.
Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using JMETER
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests in the build process.
Min 5 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in API automation using Jmeter tool.
Experience with Postman and swagger for API validation and testing.
Experience in validating data in MySQL, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, MongoDB and Cassandra.
Experience in testing on Kafka, RabbitMQ integration
Experience in working with message-driven architectures and publishing/subscribing events using Google Pub/Sub (or PubShub).
Ability to validate message flows, topics, subscriptions, and event payload structures.
Hands-on experience with publishing test messages, verifying message consumption, and debugging failures in Pub/Sub pipelines.
Exposure to the automation tool Playwright
Experience using tools like GCP Console, Cloud Shell, Pub/Sub Emulator, or APIs to trigger and inspect messages.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
