Job Description

Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To

Develop and maintain the AOSP platform for Android devices.
Understand high level Android customization requirements and to come up with the overall
Create & maintain software build or configuration management of Android Open-Source Project (AOSP).
Maintain high quality documentation of the design, reviews and the test results.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Android ecosystem.
Collaborate with additional developers to design and implement new structures.
Debug and troubleshoot issues with the AOSP platform.
Ensure the security and stability of the AOSP platform.

You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills :

Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
Very Good Experience in C++ and Java. Experience on Java/JNI and Kotlin is added advantage.
Strong understanding of the Android platform and AOSP development.
Working experience with Android Automotive OS & in Android Application upgrade.
Experience and Expertise in make tools (build tools)
Good knowledge on Linux/Ubuntu & on version control tools (Git and Repo, SVN).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with software development tools such as Android Studio, Eclipse, and IntelliJ IDEA.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with low-level system programming. Familiarity with Android Architecture and System Services.
Experience with Android platform concepts like HAL Development, System Services, Android Boot, Fast Boot etc.
Contributions to the Android Open-Source Project.
