• Maternal and child health: Providing antenatal and postnatal care, assisting with safe deliveries, and supporting child health initiatives.
• Immunizations: Administering vaccinations to children and adults.
• Health education and awareness: Conducting programs and campaigns to educate the community on various health topics.
• Primary healthcare: Offering basic medical assistance, conducting health check-ups, and referring complex cases to higher-level healthcare facilities.
• Community support: Working directly with the community and linking them to the broader public health system, often playing a vital role in programs like the National Health Mission.
• Preventive care: Providing guidance on family planning and promoting hygiene and sanitation.
• Disease management: Addressing both communicable and non-communicable diseases as the health landscape evolves.
