Responsibilities:Provide L2-level support for Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VPNs, and QoS settings.Collaborate with L3 engineers and architects for escalation and resolution of complex network issues.Monitor network performance and security using tools like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and Wireshark.Support network hardware/software upgrades, patch management, and firmware updates.Implement and maintain network security policies, including ACLs and firewall rules.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit troubleshooting and maintenance.Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Provide technical support during major incidents and participate in post-incident reviews.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking products.Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
