Anesthesiologist

Job Summary:

The Anaesthetist will be responsible for providing safe and effective anaesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. The role involves preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Determine the appropriate anaesthetic plan based on the patient’s condition and type of surgery.
• Administer general, regional, or local anaesthesia as required.
• Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures.
• Provide pain relief and sedation during and after surgery.
• Manage and respond promptly to anaesthetic-related complications or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of anaesthetic procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Supervise and train junior doctors, nurses, and technicians in anaesthetic techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and safety programs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and NABH/NABL standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS from a recognized university.
• MD / DNB / Diploma in Anaesthesiology.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council (State / National).
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital setup (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of anaesthetic drugs, techniques, and equipment.
• Strong clinical decision-making and emergency management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and patient safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
