Anesthesia & OT Technician

Meditrina Hospital, Kollam is inviting applications for the position of Anesthesia & OT Technician to join our dedicated Operation Theatre team. The ideal candidate should have relevant hands-on experience in assisting surgical and anesthesia procedures in a hospital setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist anesthesiologists during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and OT instruments.
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical equipment.
• Support the surgical team during operations and ensure smooth workflow inside the OT.
• Monitor and record patient vitals during procedures as per instruction.
• Maintain OT records, anesthesia drugs, and consumables inventory.
• Comply with hospital safety and infection control policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Anesthesia Technology or Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in assisting anesthesia and surgical cases.

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of OT procedures and anesthesia protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle emergency cases with composure and efficiency.
