Android Platform Engineer

As an Android Platform Engineer at Zero Moblt, you will have the opportunity to engage in a 42-day unpaid apprenticeship hybrid role. During this period, you will collaborate closely with our dynamic team, contributing to a critical project that aligns with your innovative ideas. Your role will involve spearheading the development and implementation of strategies crucial to enhancing our android experiences and future vision, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will transition into a full-time position as an "Android Platform Engineer" within the Zeroh Platforms team. This role will set you on a career trajectory toward Senior Android Engineer and potentially further advancement to the role of Principal Android Engineer. Your key responsibilities will encompass designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, collaborating with the development team to create scalable solutions, staying abreast of the latest Android development trends, implementing best practices for mobile app development, participating in code reviews, collaborating with designers to enhance the app's visual appeal and user-friendliness, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. To excel in this role, you should possess 1-5 years of experience in Mobile App Development, a strong command of Java or Kotlin programming languages, comprehensive knowledge of Android development frameworks and tools, experience with Jetpack components, familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend service integration, awareness of security best practices in mobile app development, proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools, exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, a keen interest in staying updated with the latest mobile technologies, non-malicious intent, a passion for contributing to a safe and supportive community, and a relevant bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus). As part of the apprenticeship program, you will be entitled to complimentary accommodation and food if relocation is required, access to confidential and secret information/archives, full visibility in decision-making processes led by directors, attendance at meetings with investors, shareholders, and internal stakeholders, allocation of funds for unit operating expenses, flexible working hours based on project outcomes, and upon successful completion, a unique brand asset valued at 100,000 INR. Post-apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress along three potential career tracks: Android Engineer (Associate, Senior, Principal), Android Lead (Associate, Senior, Principal), and Mobile Engineering (Head, Director, Chief), each offering a salary band with incremental increments, starting at 4-8 LPA for Associate levels.,
