Android Mobile Application Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile App Development:

  Develop secure, high-quality Android applications using Kotlin/Java with a strong focus on health data integration.

• Health Data Integration:

  Implement health data standards such as FHIR and HIPAA, ensuring secure and compliant handling of health data.

• DevOps Integration:

  Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.

• Unit Testing & QA:

  Write unit tests and integrate them into CI/CD workflows to continuously validate app performance and quality.

• Collaboration & Mentorship:

  Work closely with designers and engineers, providing mentorship to junior developers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintain technical documentation, report progress, and actively contribute to sprint cycle discussions.

Required Skills:

• Languages:

  Proficiency in Kotlin, with strong experience in Java.

• Tools/Technologies:

  Expertise in Android Studio, Jetpack Libraries, Google Fit API, Firebase, Dagger/Hilt (Dependency Injection), Room Database, Retrofit.

• Version Control:

  Proficiency in Git and experience with GitHub or GitLab.

• Testing:

  Solid experience in unit and UI testing using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.

• CI/CD:

  Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitrise.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud services and APIs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and regulations.
• Experience with Google Fit, HealthConnect, or other health data standards and APIs.

Technical Skills:

• Languages:

  Proficient in Kotlin, with experience in Java.
