Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Native Android Mobile App Architect to design, build, and maintain high-quality applications for the Android platform. You will play a key role throughout the entire app lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating seamless and engaging mobile experiences, possesses a strong understanding of Android SDK and Kotlin, and has a proven track record of delivering successful Android applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy Native Android applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX designers, product managers, backend developers) to define, design, and ship new features. Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs to ensure app stability, performance, and security. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and battery efficiency. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services. Maintain and improve existing codebases. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Technical Skills: Minimum 7+ years of experience on Native Android development Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages. Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI). Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile and Material Design guidelines. Experience with offline storage, threading, background processing, and performance tuning. Non-Technical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer Engineering, or a related field from reputed colleges Good to have: Familiarity with Firebase or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with automated testing frameworks (Espresso, JUnit). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
