Job Title: Android Middleware Engineer (Android Automotive)


Experience: 7 to 15 Years


Location: Chennai


Key Skills: Android AOSP / AAOS, Android Middleware, HAL, AIDL/HIDL


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain

    Android Middleware and HAL components

  • Work closely with platform, framework, and hardware teams to integrate Android services
  • Develop and customize middleware modules related to

    Audio, Media, Phone, Camera, Bluetooth, Radio, and Vehicle services

  • Implement and maintain

    AIDL/HIDL interfaces

  • Configure and manage

    SELinux policies

    for Android services
  • Debug system-level issues across middleware, framework, and kernel layers
  • Optimize performance in

    multi-core ARM / x86 environments

  • Ensure stability, security, and compliance in automotive-grade systems
