Job Description

Roles Responsibilities

Develop, test and rollout, optimized UIs for different versions/device.

Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

Build for multi-device i.e mobile website along with the mobile app.

Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Identify the bugs, correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs.

Work with the development team consisting of architects, UI designers, product managers, testers to deliver high-quality mobile products services.

Sustainable engineering by improving best practices, producing best in a class of code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.

Skills Required

Experience required is 4+ years of strong design/development experience in Android.

An Android app developer must be well-versed with Java programming language and Kotlin.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services and push notifications like firebase.

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Expertise in designing and architecting mobile apps.

Having knowledge about offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Understanding of Google Android design principles and interface guidelines.

Strong understanding of Android Activity life cycle, Services, Broadcast, Content Provider, SQLite DB, Room DB, Work Manager, Multi Thread handling, etc.

Should be able to communicate verbally and written in English.

Must be hardworking, determined, dedicated and an individual with a positive attitude.

Should be enthusiastic. Must have an attitude to learn and grow.

Good knowledge of SQLite and other local storage methods.
