Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform (using Java/Kotlin).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, and crashes.

• Stay up-to-date with new Android development trends, libraries, and technologies.

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Java

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

• Familiarity with Android architectural components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.).

• Knowledge of Git, Gradle, and Android Studio.

• Experience with Firebase, Google Play Services, and third-party SDKs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process.

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Room, or other modern Android libraries.

• Understanding of Material Design guidelines.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and mobile testing frameworks.
