- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and web services securely within Android applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Work with third-party libraries, APIs, and SDKs (e.g., Google Maps integration). - Identify and resolve application bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues. - Ensure code quality, organization, and automation. - Manage the full app lifecycle including deployment, updates, and monitoring on the Google Play Store. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in Android app development. - Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages. - Experience in consuming and integrating secure web services (REST/JSON). - Familiarity with app architecture patterns (MVP, MVVM, etc.). - Experience with Google Play Store submission, app updates, and release management. - Good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Google Maps integration and other location-based services.
- Knowledge of push notifications, deep linking, and in-app purchases. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
