Android Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer with 4+ years of professional experience to join our development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Android applications in the payment domain using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Integrate third-party APIs, Restful services, and libraries seamlessly.
• Utilize Jetpack Components (View Model, LiveData, Room Database, Navigation) for efficient app architecture.
• Implement efficient database solutions using SQLite and Room Database.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following best practices and Android design patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.).
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android SDKs, tools, and industry trends.
• Manage build processes using Gradle and ensure smooth CI/CD integration.
• Utilize Git and version control systems for collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Work closely with Client team to deliver high quality product
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to OOP principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (mandatory) and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and ADB.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).
• Experience working with SQLite and Room Database.
• Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
• Experience with Work Manager, background services, and scheduled tasks.
• Proficiency in Restful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong grasp of Gradle build system and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of structured concurrency using Kotlin Coroutines.
• Solid understanding of Git and version control best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, highly motivated, and a team player with excellent communication skills
