Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing new mobile applications for the Android platform. - Managing projects from concept to launch. - Reporting on development progress to clients in the USA, UK, and Australia. - Utilizing Android frameworks to streamline user interface development. - Actively participating in team collaboration and brainstorming sessions. - Understanding clients" needs and objectives to deliver projects on time and with high quality. - Implementing new features and enhancing existing products based on client requirements. - Staying updated on the latest mobile technologies and industry trends. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT with 1-3 years of experience in Android app development. - Proficiency in Java programming and design. - Expertise in Android 2.2+ SDK/NDK Development, including Web Services & APIs, Social Network Integration, LBS, Content Providers, UI and XML Layout Design, etc. - Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQLite3, MySQL, and Google APIs. - Basic experience with Eclipse and code analysis tools like PMD and FindBugs. - Knowledge of publishing mobile applications on the Android market and Hybrid mobile applications. - Additional advantage if familiar with Open Source CMS such as Wordpress, Joomla, Magento, and gaming application programming. - Self-motivated with a strong learning attitude and excellent reporting and project coordination skills.
