Role Overview: As a Anchor at Chandigarh University, you will be responsible for creating and managing engaging content that highlights university achievements, academic programs, student experiences, and other relevant topics. You will collaborate with faculty, students, and staff to produce high-quality audio content that supports the university’s mission and enhances its public presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
• Develop and produce podcast episodes that showcase university programs, research, and events.
• Conduct interviews with faculty, students, alumni, and other university stakeholders.
• Research and create content that is both informative and entertaining, aligning with the university’s goals and brand.
• Recording and Production:
• Record, edit, and produce podcast episodes, ensuring high audio quality and a polished final product.
• Manage all aspects of podcast production, including scriptwriting, recording, editing, and post-production.
• Promotion and Outreach:
• Promote podcast episodes through university channels, including social media, the university website, and newsletters.
• Engage with listeners and the university community to build and maintain a strong audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the university’s communications and media teams to align podcast content with overall media strategies.
• Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas for future podcast topics and formats.
• Coordinate with university departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and relevant content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Anchor , Radio Host, or similar role, preferably in an academic or institutional setting.
• Strong verbal communication and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand).
• Excellent research skills and the ability to create engaging content on a variety of topics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with podcasting platforms and social media marketing.
• Creative mindset with a passion for contributing to educational and institutional media.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in higher education or a related field.
• Knowledge of digital media trends and content marketing strategies.
• Experience with live podcasting or university events.
