About The Role We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of the Design and Engineering team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. You will work in a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI's portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects within a dynamic environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem-solving, and attention to detail. What You'll Do As part of this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) activities for solar PV modules across different projects. This will involve interacting and coordinating with external parties, negotiating scope, reviewing and analyzing reports, evaluating results, providing feedback, presenting summaries to internal and external stakeholders, and following up with various involved parties. You will support internal teams (Finance, Project Management, and EPC) in addressing PV module quality-related queries from Independent Engineers and other financing parties. Additionally, you will manage document inventory and trackers for different QAQC activities on all solar projects. A key responsibility will be maintaining and updating technical exhibits related to module quality for existing and novel PV module technologies. This includes conducting reviews of existing literature, identifying novel issues related to the long-term quality of PV modules, and tracking revisions to different PV module-related standards regularly. You will also develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders in different project stages, ensuring all quality benchmarks are met and maintained. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: - A B.Tech./M.Tech. in Energy Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 2 to 4 years of relevant industrial experience - Experience in PV module manufacturing, R&D, PV module testing, PV module inspections/audits, and PV module standards analysis of the Bill of Materials - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High diligence, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external entities - Knowledge of PV module technologies, characterization methods, and understanding of the operating mechanisms of various types of defects and degradations in PV modules,
