Analyst/Senior Analyst

Role Overview: You will be joining the India office of DESRI, specifically DESRI India Private Limited, located in Hyderabad, India. As a part of the Design and Engineering team, you will collaborate with teams in the U.S. and Hyderabad, as well as external parties. Your responsibilities will involve supporting DESRI's portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects through detailed PV plant designing of utility scale projects. Key Responsibilities: - Work on detailed PV plant designing of utility scale projects, including creating layouts and detailed designs - Focus on fixed tilt and tracker designs for Utility Scale Design by collating various design datasets such as Geotech, Civil, topographic, and environmental surveys of the site - Provide relevant suggestions and inputs to optimize capacity by comparing and studying various layouts and design inputs - Simulate multiple iterations using Civil 3D or similar tools to analyze different combinations of plant components and provide an analysis of the total capacity obtained for the site - Analyze the impact of varied environmental parameters like topography, shading, and constraints on the overall capacity of the site Qualification Required: - Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or a Master of Technology (M. Tech) in renewable/solar energy/power systems/Geotech - Up to 6 years of experience in utility scale solar plant designing and detailed design - Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, QGIS, PVCase, or 3D design software for layouts - Sound knowledge of AC/DC electrical power systems, MV cabling, various racking systems, and various design tools - Ability to communicate conclusions through well-organized layouts and layout summaries - Experience in PVCase, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, layout design, and detailed design based on actual site data and site calculations - Good understanding of Electrical Engineering, Basic Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Geotech studies; MV Cable routing; large GIS data handling skills; knowledge of ASTM and NEC codes and standards; experience in the commissioning of solar plants and field experience,
